Greg Rice joined CAM Industrial Solutions in October 2024 as their Chief Executive Officer, based in Houston, Texas. Greg brings over 38+ years of experience in the petrochemical, refining, industrial and construction services industries, as well as extensive experience with private equity investments. Greg has driven key safety initiatives, cost and efficiency initiatives, sales/business development growth programs, for profit and loss responsibilities at multiple site locations over multiple branch, site, and project operations in his career.
Prior to joining CAM Industrial Solutions, Greg served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Penhall Company, joining Penhall Company in September 2014 as one of their external board member, taking over as President and Chief Executive Officer in February 2018, working closely with past leadership team on safety, operational and sales/business development improvements.
His career began with Dowell Schlumberger (Dow Industrial Services), later becoming HydroChem LLC as a field engineer trainee in 1987. He has had responsibilities that included operational, safety, and sales/business development positions throughout those years, including international business development experience, obtaining the role of President and Chief Operating Officer before leaving.
Greg has achieved degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from Oklahoma State University in 1986. In addition, he has completed several executive management programs through Harvard Business School, Rice University, Louisiana State University, Emory University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Outside of work, Greg has been involved with volunteer engagement with Star of Hope Mission, Wounded Warriors and several church functional groups in Dallas and Houston areas.
